I stayed at Maya Monkey Hostel in Cancún and overall had a great experience for the price. The location is excellent, the staff are friendly, and check-in and check-out were very efficient. The room and bed were a bit small, and cleanliness could be improved, but considering the price, it was reasonable. I think this is a great hostel in a prime location, especially for solo travelers.

Very nice amenities the staff was very accommodating with the exception of the usual unruly drunken annoying hostel guests from mainly the USA and all points west the Mayan monkey is worth a revisit I’ve been to hostels in the USA where I would never step foot inside of them again

Thought this place might be a bit much for me as a solo traveller working remotely and not wanting to party but honestly it has best of both worlds. Loads of events and activities going on but also an incredible working space, lots of places to chill, pretty quiet in the rooms and all the facilities you could need - literally seconds walk from the most exceptional beaches as well!
