Habia reservado una habitación con cocina pero cuando llegue, era solo un dormitorio. No dije nada porque pense que al dia siguiente nos iban a dar desayuno. Pero estaba en reformas la cocina como decia tooodos los comentarios que lei. De todos modos mi reserva no incluia desayuno pero si una cocina. Al dia siguiente reclame y tenia que esperar a que se desocupara una habitación con cocina. Fui a mi excursión y cuando volvi me habian cambiado de habitacion pero habia que solicitar previamente toooodos los utensilios de cocina y ya era de noche. Solo me quedo a esperar a irme luego de pasar dos noches en ese lugar. Tenia ambiente de hostel desprolijo. Los ventiladores se prendian solo ai prendias las luces por lo que de noche no se podian usar. Tiene linda vista desde la pileta pero no tiene playa. Sirve solo para pasar una noche si a la mañana siguiente tenes que tomar temprano el ferry o lo mismo, si llegas de noche del ferry y hasta ahi nomas porque el agua caliente, si es que llega a salir, dura solo dos segundos. No volveria a este lugar.

We had a great stay at Casa Caribe. Juarez Port is within walking distance and various places to eat as well. The room was cozy and the ac worked great. Place was not crowded. If you are looking for a place to just relax away from hotel zone this is the spot. Will stay again.

We came for our last couple of nights after staying on Isla Mujeres, so the location is perfect, right next to the ferry at Puerto Juarez. The place, especially the courtyard, is absolutely beautiful and well-kept, except the pool was very dirty so we didn't use it. Amazing view from our room. The "superior apartment" was listed to have a full kitchen, which it did, but there was not a single cooking pan or utensil available, even when we asked. We had food to cook, so we had to get extremely creative with aluminum foil and the gas cooktop. The bed was really firm and uncomfortable for me, but that wasn't a huge issue. Overall we enjoyed it and knew we wouldn't be getting a luxury hotel for the price we paid, but I would definitely be giving it a higher rating if cooking utensils had been available as stated in their literature.

Room was very dirty and only cleaned by request, half of the lights did not work- had to shower in the dark. Requested ocean view but received 7-11 view. Most importantly, room door did not lock! There is a pool that isn’t very big but it wasn’t terrible. Location is also very tucked away from everything except for the ferry to Isla Mujeres. I will say that the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the food around the area is good, but do not recommend if you are a solo female traveller.

The room smelt badly from the toilet drain. There was no curtains on one window, which let in the light from outside. Very hard to sleep

there was no hand towels, no wash cloth, no cookware in the kitchen, only 1 glass , the fridge leaks water, the balconie door is very hard to open. the room and whole exterior needs a paintjob. the staff was nice but lady had no english skills. they did let me check in early though, that was helpful

I’m shocked how this place was rated so well on Expedia. Makes me not trust their ratings anymore. The room smelt incredibly musty when we entered. The fridge was so old and rusted. It appeared to be clean. Looked like it was once a resort that hasn’t been updated in 50 years. No soap in the bathroom or any towels. Only stayed there because of the proximity to the ferry but I won’t do that again.

Staff were super friendly and the little apartment had everything we needed! Location is perfect and is right next door to the ferry port, where you can take a short boat ride over to Isla Mujeres! I love that this place is family run and I much prefer this over an all inclusive! The views are beautiful, and being able to watch the sunrise each morning on the beachfront is an added bonus. My only downside is that we paid for what we thought was breakfast included and it was only coffee. This is the only downside, otherwise, would give 5 stars :)

Amazing room, AC included, your own wifi, ocean view and a small seating area on the ocean. Quiet zone and lots of little local food spots and a 7/11 in the corner for your convenience.

We stayed two nights in the family apartment - two bedroom, two bathroom, kitchen, dining area and living room. Bedrooms and bathrooms - bathrooms stunk from the brown water that came out of sink faucet. Black water in the other bathroom. No bath towels or bath mats. No need for any though as we didn’t risk taking a shower. One bedroom had a hand towel. Due to the dripping shower, there was a towel on the floor to sop up the water. No hair dryer in either bathroom. No positives about the bedrooms or bathrooms Kitchen - no drinking water. We had to buy some from the corner store. Stove was disgusting. Totally wrapped in filthy aluminum foil, except for the gas elements, which i wouldn’t trust turning on! The glass on the oven door hung down when the door was opened. No pots, pans, coffee maker, no cooking implements at all. The table dad 4 plates, 4 coffee mugs, 4 forks, 4 knives set up. Living room - very uncomfortable seating. Cushions were stained & torn. One back cushion on each of the two seater sofas and a chair. Good thing there was only three of us! Pool - algae on the pool wall. They have a restaurant that’s open 8am to 2pm. We didn’t trust eating there, after seeing the state of our kitchen! One star that I had no choice but to put, is for the proximity to the Ultramar Ferry and decent restaurants. After speaking to other guests, the comments were the rooms were disgusting and nothing like the photos, which were likely taken 20 years ago.

First off …We Arrive to a room that smells like sewage , that does not lock nor has been updated or professionally taken care of .. This hotel gives the feel of what looks to be the rougher side of the Cancún Mexico experience ….After immediately checking in , we decided to immediately Check out…. If you want to feel like you will wake up missing a kidney this may be the place for you… We asked the front desk if this place was safe . As it was advertised by “Expedia” as a “Fantastic “ place to stay … and was met with “EHHh yeah it’s safe “ just be in by dark…. After requesting refund for this property due to having to book another hotel 45min south of Puerto Juarez …. Hotel refuses now to speak English with Expedia to refund . Expedia for over a month has said they would reach out to hotel with a bilingual agent . Which still has yet to be done…. I have pictures and days of texts with no only hotel but Expedia…. Mind you I am a loyal Expedia customer with bookings done nearly 5x a year through this site . Expedia gave me a very small one key credit . Book at your own discretion …

Resulta que pagué más para poder tener un habitación con vista al mar. Qué pasó? Llego al lugar. Me dan la llave, y la vista era hacia la calle. Ya sabía que reembolso no habría, entoces le dije al recepcionista. Si puedes, cámbiame a la habitación correcta. Dame el servicio POR EL QUE PAGUÉ. Su respuesta: es que se las damos como van llegando. QUE?! usted llegó al último y ya se la dimos a alguien más. QUE?! O sea, para que pague la habiatacion más cara, si me darían “lo que me tocaban” Pésima locación, era mi primera vez en Cancún, jamás, y NO recomiendo que se queden aquí. Aparte las sábanas estaban sucias.
