"It’s a fairly expensive hotel so you expect a certain level of food, entertainment and fun at this type of hotel but it lacked a lot. It’s an average hotel and only worth half the price. I wouldn’t come again. From cockroaches in room to smell of food throughout the hotel rooms and lack of good fun for the kids."

"This Aparthotel has everything you need for a relaxing stay in Tenerife. The apartment is large, nearly all have a sea view (ours was obscured by tropical trees filled with beautiful tropical birds - a pleasant bonus). The pool really is filled with filtered seawater, which is emptied weekly, cleaned then refilled. When you swim out to the deep end (nearest to the coast line) you can see a beautiful view of Mount Teide on a clear day). The entertainment team offer relaxing poolside group stretch/pilates sessions most days, with stunning backdrops of the ocean/ pool & mountain all at once. Some afternoon light fun activities for families which include darts, boules, aquagym and themed fun by the pool most days (weather dependent of course). Excellent bus routes link this Aparthotel with the south airport (40 mins on the bus) which offers further routes around the island ((we took a bus to Santa Cruz for the day for museums and shopping & Playa de las Americas for sandy beach days ). The aparthotel is very close to supermarkets, pharmacies, excellent cafe's. A 5 minute walk greets you with a small Marina filled with sea-view restaurants for locally caught seafood specialties. Make a little effort with the language and you will be welcomed with open arms (not a Brits-abroad town). The aparthotel has a very small sandy beach next door which offers excellent snorkelling. The on-site restaurant has good quality food, evening live music and a really good daytime poolside menu."

"Santa Barbara is a lovely accommodation in GDS. great location and close to lovely places to eat. The room and complex was ideal. Very good. I gave 4 stars but would have given 5 if I didn’t need to contact for th bed change/towel change as they kept missing our apartment out. However then did the change the next day and they apologised for missing us twice."

"Not a 5 star!! Don’t be fooled by the name, it’s like a good 3 star, had I of booked a 3 star I would have been impressed, I’m not just a Karen but when I book something I feel it should be deserving of the star rating, bedrooms are defiantly not upto the cleanliness standard, one tiny little shower gel provided, which isn’t replenished, told to put towels on the floor to be changed, came back to find our old dirty towels hung back up, reception don’t answer the phone, had to go down twice and finally got fresh towels 45 mins after which made us late to our reservation. No waiter service around the pool, queue up at one till that takes forever just to get a drink. You have to go elsewhere for takeaway food in yet another queue as you’re unable to get a drink at the same place! Pool towels can only be changed in 2 hour slots one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Manager never gets back to you. Listen if your used to a 3 star this hotel is fab but if your used to a 5 star save your money!"

"Hotel is stylish and high standard; overall we enjoyed the stay though will not return due to the hotel being isolated with nothing around. Restaurant good, though food constantly tepid. Room excellent though air conditioning not operational (throughout the hotel). Good facilities, though lack of Aircon made the gym challenging."

Bin in kitchen was dirty Bedding changed twice during 7 night stay No microwave or oven in kitchenette only a dirty kettle and hob which I didn’t use 1 washing machine and 1 tumble dryer located on site Breakfast nice Spacious rooms Comfortable bed Pools nice"
