AFTER staying here for my 35th birthday I was very pleased with everything . "My room was super small and very minimalistic. It has limited front desk service. The property is newly renovated but in a marginal neighborhood. It was not a good value for what I paid."

"Had a really great stay overall. The hotel had a fun, welcoming LGBTQ+ vibe and the staff and bartenders were all fantastic — super friendly and made the experience even better. The beach access and atmosphere were great too. The only downside was the Sunday drag brunch. It seemed to take over the entire bar area for most of the day, so it was hard to even get service or access the bar while hanging out at the beach. Other than that, I had good time but wouldn’t stay there again"

"I had an amazing stay at Hotel Plaza De Armas Old San Juan in Puerto Rico! The location is perfect, right in the heart of Old San Juan and close to everything. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and full of charm, but what truly made the experience special was the excellent staff. "The best thing about the hotel is the swimming pool. We had to change rooms after the first night because the toilet would not work properly. Also, the a/c in the room was very weak, the bathroom is minuscule, no hair dryer in the whole hotel, very poor lighting in the room and the bathroom. In the second room we had to get maintenance to fix that toilet also. The whole room needs a paint job. There are cracks in the walls and there is a piece of glass missing from the bathroom window that...

"Staff were very helpful. I wasn’t too happy about not having an elevator, but the gentleman @ the desk helped us with our luggage. I will be using this hotel again if and when I return to Puerto Rico. Also I was very pleased that the subway was right next door and this hotel is very close to the airport Luis Muñoz Marin.
