"This place was the perfect budget hotel in a great location. The free breakfast was very good, the bed was comfy, the front desk staff were nice, the elevators worked, etc. The room was tiny, it wasn't the most renovated space, or cutest vibe, but for less than $200 a night, it was an excellent place to stay. If you get a good deal, this was the perfect hotel for my week-long vacation. I saved so much money from the free breakfast and coffee every day."

"Reasonably priced ( total rarity) and worth at least 3 stars for that alone. It's what it is in Manhattan. Tiny room but it provides ALL you'll need. Including a couple cold waters and chips and NO ONE does that. Super clean. Close to EVERYTHING. Staff was ok; stayed out of way. And that's very cool. I've stayed in a half dozen or so hotels in Manhattan in the last year or so and This place is the sole hotelier that didn't monkey with the charges trying to gouge me. Sad but true. Props to Artezen"

I did not get a chance to eat at the restaurant. I did hear mixed reviews about the food that I’m not trying for myself. It’s a centrally located area and very easy to get to the subway station and or get an Uber or Lyft. "

"When I went to purchase an item from the store located in the lobby, there was no one present at the front desk. I waited for a short period and then left to look for a nearby store. Approximately 40 minutes later, when I returned, the front desk was still unattended. The same two individuals who had been waiting earlier were still there waiting for someone to return to the desk. The curtains in my room were dirty. The phone in the room did not work I had to call front desk with my cellphone to request shower gel. The toilet would not flush I had to lift up the top and put water I. The tank for the toilet to flush. "
