"The property was empty. No other guests. We left snorkel gear by the pool, and it was stolen. The receptionist made no attempt to even ask anyone about it when we told her. Service is non-existent. No paper in the washrooms. No one cleans dirty dishes by the pool. Host in the restaurant lying down while talking to guests, no attempt at any service. The food was good (after having to wait for an hour). Reception closes at certain hours without any warning (where the pool towels are). ...

"The room was clean and fixed up each day in a timely manner. The bathroom although clean need some work. The shower water did not drain properly and the tap would drip. Restaurant staff was very friendly and helpful. Chef Mike was great and accommodating in preparing dish not on the menu."

"The property is placed in a perfect paradise right down the road from famous Rick’s Café known for the cliff jump in. This resort offers its own private cliff jump in with a bridge that connects to islands that you can jump from small intimate perfect for a couples. Not a place for a small children. The food served at this restaurant is phenomenal breakfast lunch, and dinner a must eat local dine in at your home resort we will definitely be going back. The rooms are your own private cabana."

The only downside keeping me from giving an overall 5-star review was the loud music from the bar that went well into the evening and then into the morning. "Honestly, if you’re not looking for something extremely lavish but still cozy for a nice trip to Jamaica, I’d recommend this place. They have events different days of the week and it’s right on the beach so you don’t have to leave the resort too much unless you’re exploring with the locals. I’d definitely stay here again."

"The room was nice and cozy, with AC and a fan. The bathroom was equipped with a line for wet bathsuits and had hot water. There's a bar on site, and when I expressed a preference for Red Stripe Mango, it was stocked at the bar. I was got rides to various local establishments, including 7-mile Beach. I was also able to secure R/T airport transfer for a very reasonable fee. This was my first time on the Westend, and I really enjoyed my stay at Paradise on the Rock. I will definitely come back....
