"We stayed 3 nights in the Sagitarrius cottage and we loved it! It was everything we hoped for — a private cottage with lounge chairs, a hammock, a patio, a private outdoor shower with amazing ocean views. You can even see Rick’s Cafe from there. One thing to note: the cottage shares a wall with the restaurant, but it didn’t bother us since the restaurant closes at 10 pm and everything is quiet thereafter. The lounging area is great, with comfortable sun chairs, parasols, and small beautiful stairs and pathways along the cliff — and the sunsets are incredible. The amenities were well maintained. We also tried the restaurant (Ivans) and bar for lunch and dinner; the food was delicious and dining with that view was a highlight. The reception staff was very helpful and booked our reservation at other restaurant. The included shuttle from the restaurant was also appreciated, especially since there’s no sidewalk along the road. You can swim in the ocean, though it depends on the conditions. We were happy to jump in and use the ladder since there’s no beach access. The pool was also available. We would definitely stay again! "

"Seaside cottage room was amazing!! Clean, beautiful, and the views were phenomenal. The staff were all so kind. The pool was perfect, always able to get a chair, quiet, peaceful, ocean water was calm and perfect for floating away on the rafts provided! Seaside massage was incredible. Only ate at the restaurant once and it was decent. A bit slow but nice. Dolphins swim by in the mornings! Definitely will stay again!"

"Tensing Pen has beautifully recovered from Hurricane Melissa. The photos truly don’t do it justice. The grounds are stunning, perched right at the edge of the cliffs with breathtaking views of the sea. A continental breakfast is included and more than enough to start your day satisfied. You can swim and snorkel right off the property, which was one of the highlights of our stay. Paul, the lifeguard, guided us while snorkeling and pointed out incredible marine life. I wish I had an underwater camera — it was majestic. He even dove deep to retrieve sea creatures from the ocean floor to show us up close. We saw a giant manta ray, tiger fish, and blowfish. Absolutely unforgettable. The on-site restaurant is one of the most popular in the area, so reservations are highly recommended. The sunsets are spectacular, the atmosphere serene and relaxing, and the staff warm, friendly, and courteous. I would definitely return. "

"Imagine staying in a tree house (not actually) on a beautiful cliff overlooking the blue ocean surrounded by friendly people and that’s the best I can describe it. We’ve been multiple times and loved each time. All the guests seem to love it too. It’s a relatively quiet chill place. Many catamaran excursions go to the area off the coast because it’s so amazing. Getting there is interesting as it’s in the West End of Negril about 1.5-2hr from MBJ airport. We’ve taken the small plane, car transfer, and rental and each has pros/cons. The plane is best and most expensive ~350-400/pp, the private transfer is ~200-500/couple, the rental car is ~70/day but the most stressful for some not used to dodging potholes, people, animals, bikes, cars all sharing your lane while driving on the British side of the road. Beware many credit card rental car insurances exclude Jamaica."
