While the message box from Expedia was empty each time I received an email saying the host contacted me; we ended up with WhatsApp chat and communication was excellent. Great room in a great place of Barcelona. Would go back again next time I visit Barcelona. Thank you ❤️

The room is close to the street and noisy at night, hard to get any sleep after 11pm. The luggage was not allowed to get in the room at first and take quite long time to check in afterwards. It is a shared bathroom with 4-5 people and would not recommend to anyone need privacy.

The location was really good, although for anyone getting about on foot it is a bit of a walk from the sites and beach. The beds were comfortable and fresh sheets when we arrived. I'm not sure if there were any spare towels around as I used the same one a few times. There are allocated shelves in the fridge which is good. I had to text the host late at night as i couldn't find a duvet. They answered very quickly and considering the time, probably after midnight, I was very impressed. For the price this room is worth every penny.

We chose this place almost exclusively for the location, and if that is what you prioritize, this is a great choice. It's a couple of blocks from La Sagrada Familia and in the middle of everything. That said, this is an apartment (not a hotel) that has been converted into Airbnb-type rentals. The bathroom is shared between rooms. It is outfitted with the necessities, but it has the slippery-est shower I have EVER been in. There IS an AC in the room, but the host required us to pay for use for each day we wanted to use it at the beginning of the visit. This wasn't stated in the ad, so I thought it might be helpful to someone. Also, the AC started leaking water onto the table under it (which ended up ruining some paper Tour de France things my husband had bought). When I brought this to the host's attention, she stated that she would contact the handyman the next day but that nothing could be done until then. So, we had to pile towels underneath the unit and hope for the best (the TV was located just under the unit, and the water was dripping into the TV.). I probably wouldn't stay here again, but, again, if you want to be close to LA Sagrada, and if the AC issue is a one-off, then this might check the boxes.

This is the worst accom. I had in all my travels. Very poor communication with the operator, they should learn basic English when operating in a Tourism industry. And the elevator broke-down 2 days before we checked-out, so imagine us dragging our heavy luggages from the 4F. Won’t recommend this type of stay.

The accommodation has no shared spaces, which was fine, but many basic amenities came with extra charges: air conditioning was an additional cost even though it was very hot (summer), washing machine use required payment, and cleaning during the stay was also charged. On top of that, an extra security deposit was requested upon arrival, which was not mentioned on the booking site. Overall a disappointing experience — I expected more transparency.

I didn't stay. I booked for a single night and was then sent the deposit payment link which I declined to accept so I found somewhere else. I booked late so never saw that T&C which is on their listing but right at the bottom which I didn't see. I messaged them and they wouldn't relax their policies at so I found somewhere else. Expedia support were helpful but I don't know if i will get a refund. I have no great expectations & peace of mind is more important for me. The messaging wasn't rude but it wasn't polite either. I did stay with the same organisation via a different platform and it was the same pettiness and wanting to charge extra for services like washing machine & air con on that site too. So when you look at the score I have given take all this into account. I cannot say the place was tidy or messy, quiet or loud as I don't know. I have marked as 3 * because it might be nice but I don't know and they did include the part about needing to pay an extra deposit on the listing it's just not prominent.

Le logement est très bien placé. Par contre, accueil pas très chaleureux, très petite chambre sans fenêtre sur l'extérieur (une seule fenêtre qui donne sur le couloir de l’immeuble, donc on ne peut pas l’ouvrir), isolation sonore inexistante avec des portes claquées dans tous les sens, il n’y a pas de couette donc très froid la nuit, salle de bain commune non entretenue (il vaut mieux ne pas tomber avec des voyageurs sales), le moindre petit truc est facturé très cher (clim, arrivée tardive…). C’est un compromis a faire entre confort, localisation, et prix.

Bonne localisation Bien équipé, propre. Le souci c'est le bruit de la rue, la nuit on entend tout, voitures, motos et le traffic ne s'arrête pas 2h, 3h 5h du matin... il faut un meilleur isolement des fenêtres.
