"I’ve been to Bangkok several times and this area (Pinklao) is my new favorite. Between the Maruay Food Hall and the Indy Night Market, there’s a lot of solid food options when on a budget. Staying in the studio room as a couple was quite comfortable. There’s on-site laundry machines and as others may have mentioned, the owners are quite hospitable. "Really nice hotel, fantastic for the cheap price. A bit far out from the main hustle and bustle so you'll need your walking shoes. Staff will hail taxis for you, which helps to bridge the language barrier. Rooms have a balcony but not much of a view to speak of. A couple of restaurants near by but not much else. About a 10/15 minute walk to a river taxi stop."
