"This place is old but it’s well maintained. The room was rather small until I figured the square footage of the balcony. There was a table and four chairs and the area was not cramped. In fact we spent much of our time on the balcony watching the street activity. The hotel has covered valet parking on site but it’s pricey, $48/night with tip >$50. "The area around the pool and hot tub was very pleasant. I am not sure if the hot tub was working. It was cold when we dipped our toes into it. The picturesque patio made up for it! "

"Hotel was clean, central location to everything we needed and they provided plenty of water and coffee for our room. Carla at guest services was very friendly and informative with tours and got us all set up quickly. Out trip went awesome thanks this facilities location and friendly staff. The only thing we had a problem with was the sound of the tv but really we weren’t in our room for too much time. We had a great stay at hotel Monteleone! Thank you"

"Excellent stay, within an easy walking distance to both Frenchmen Street and French Quarter. Clean, quiet room, friendly staff. My only recommendation would be to add some more shelving space in the bathroom. Other than that, we truly enjoyed our stay. "
