Breakfast is prepared by Monica herself, and she could be the best cook in town! The property itself is very serene, lots of birds chirping early in the morning. We truly enjoyed our stay in this little paradise. "

"The room was amazing! Beautifully arranged and all the amenities, the best was the porch overlooking the trees and the birds, breakfast was great. It’s pretty far from La Fortuna and most activities and wr didn’t rent a car. The host did drive us but we were limited in what we could do. "

"I loved this property. The free guided walks are amazing. I saw sleeping frogs and humming birds and learned so much about the plant life and also the history of the lodge. Edward was a great guide! The breakfast was tasty and the room was immaculate. My kids appreciated the pool. I just loved walking the grounds and the view from the restaurant. Fantastic place and would recommend a stay here."

"The individual cabin style rooms are very private and cozy. Almost too cozy! We like to be woken up by the sounds of the jungle and these rooms with heavy curtains are perfect for sleeping in. It was both a blessing and a curse! I do wish they didn’t use BRIGHT WHITE lights. Soft lighting would have been better, and would go much better with their decor. Having a front glassed in and a back open porch was great to enjoy the mornings…. We actually caught a glimpse of a Howler Monkey going...

"The rooms were basic and some bugs got in although we were careful, but the rooms were clean at least. The staff was wonderful. We enjoyed a New Year’s Eve dinner in the restaurant and had the free breakfast one day, it had a nice variety of options. The highlight was the hot springs area. It had a great vibe, very cool with lights and a swim up bar. The grounds were also gorgeous with the vegetation and we saw a few birds walking around too. I would stay again!"

"We had a wonderful stay here with our 5 teenage/young adult children. I was skeptical that the views and the rooms were as great as the pictures, but they were even better. We had two villas near each other for 7 people and had plenty of space. The location is private, yet a short Uber drive to La Fortuna. The food at the restaurant was great, though not a huge variety. There is AC in the rooms, which wasn't obvious from the listing, but much appreciated. The staff was wonderful. Everyone was so...
