"The apartment was clean and quiet. However, there was a bad smell in the lobby of the building. Also, the air conditioning in the unit was not strong. The apartment was still too warm, and it was difficult for me to fall asleep. Bedding was very basic as well. Overall, the booking was fine for a one night stay, but I would likely not book for a more extended stay."

"Excellent location and very clean. The check-in was smooth and the host provided clear instructions. Great shower and air conditioner. Lots of cafes around for food and drink. It is next to the castle and you can frequently see peacocks walking around. You have to walk a few minutes to catch an Uber as private taxis can only enter this area. This was not an issue for us."

"Beautiful property located in Alfama (old part of town). Hosts are lovely and very accommodating. We arrived late and Olinda, who is just wonderful, let us in. Hilarious and warm, we felt right at home. The home has everything you need, the shower was fantastic after a long day of walking around. The courtyard is lovely, we ate breakfast there everyday. Speaking of breakfast, couple of really nice coffee / pastry shops at walking distance (Fora, Augusto). Tram 28 stop very close to the location....

"The apartment was clean, but it is one funky place. The description is not accurate. It was described as two bedrooms, two bathrooms, with a loft and free parking. It's really one bedroom with some beds shoved in the corners of what would otherwise be a living room. The bed in the loft had no sheets, blankets, or pillows, and there was no one around to ask for them. There are two bathrooms, but they have glass walls and doors that don't stay closed. Truly the strangest bathrooms I've ever seen....

"Found the area was very quiet and communication was very prompt. The studio was extremely small and not very clean. This space would be ideal for one person and not two, not much room to move around in. Bathroom was extremely small and there was mold around the grout... also got extremely humid after you showered. So for us it wasn't ideal and wont stay here again."
