"Constant, non-stop sirens for the hospital next door. All. Night. Long. Also, the water pressure in the shower was just horrible. I’ve probably pissed a higher pressure than what was squeezed out of the shower head. Staff was great and the place was clean, but avoid at all costs."

"I spent a night at Glo Best Western Hotel in the Bronx, New York City. It’s an excellent place to stay with your family. It’s in a good shopping center on the Southern Blvd. The 2 &5 Train station is just around the corner. They have parkin’ nice staff, clean and spacious room for breakfast. They only need to adjust their bath though clean. I recommend this hotel to every traveler who needs a place to spend a day or days in the Bronx. I enjoyed the place."

"Walking in the room it just seems a bit off. walking in the bathroom the toilet was dirty as if they didn’t clean from the last people that was their. shower had hair in it. the covers on the bed was dirty. only plus was being able to smoke in the room"

"This is not a tourist or visitor to NY hotel; it’s literally used by locals in the area for extra curricular activities. Worst off the front desk assistance were horrible. I asked if an early check in was possible, the young lady said yes, but I had to pay $40 cash; asked if they can add it to my bill and she replied no, but there’s an atm behind me to use. There were no smoking signs and warnings about additional fees if caught smoking, but the entire hotel reeked of weed. Bed linen had hair on...

"Rooms are new, large, and spotless. Quality linens. Helpful friendly professional staff. Hotel is historic property on 149th street smack in the middle of retail commercial. Highly ethnic neighborhood. Great street food. Easy Uber pickups. My only negative is that there was no coffee in the rooms. But there was 24 hour coffee and fruit on the second floor."

"Great quiet room even with concerts at the facility. Staff awesome! Only odd thing was the opaque shower wall into the room as we were there with our young adult daughters. Perfect room for a couple!"

"Voco in Astoria is a great place to stay. It’s less than a year old and the rooms are soundproof. Across from me was the subway track and I could barely hear it. It was probably one of of best showers I’ve ever had in a hotel room. The restaurant serves dinner and breakfast. The food and atmosphere was amazing as well as the excellent Customer Service by the entire staff throughout the hotel. It’s a short walking distance to a subway entrance. I will definitely be returning there."
