"Fantastic hotel. Classic King room very spacious by London standard, huge bathroom. Lovely bars both Coral Room and the downstairs Bloomsbury club with jazz in evenings and lots of champagnes and cocktails to try. Doormen and reception staff all super nice."

"Everything was great except the bathroom - it was really, really tiny with a sliding door that didn't quite close completely. There were also few places to hang wet towels, so they had to be replaced each day. The staff was terrific. "

"We had the corner suite which was very comfortable for 3 of us, the amenities were lovely and the food at the restaurant was delicious. The part of this hotel that is a 10+ was the service. We had a medical emergency while on holiday and the hotel staff went above and beyond in helping us anyway they could. Thank you to Jude and other staff. They made this very difficult situation a bit easier to navigate. "

"Staff are very accommodating. The hotel is older. This meant no outlets for technology such as USB for charging There was one outlet for the entire space over the desk. This meant using the hair dryer in the sleeping area and ironing in that same area. The rooms were very clean with plenty of towels. Conveniently located near everything. There was construction near the building where we were located which started very early and was disruptive to sleep. "

"The hotel is situated ideally in the city. The rooms are very nice and there is an expansive, comfortable lounge area. The restaurant served excellent meals. "

"The Mandeville was a lovely place to stay while we were in London for a few days. The staff were lovely, friendly and very helpful. The hotel was close to the tube for easy access to wherever we needed to go. We would highly recommend this hotel. It was in a quiet area too. "

"Friendly staff, clean, comfortable and quiet - would definitely stay again. Only dusappointment was the "discretionary service charge". I wasnt going to get into an argument about that as i really apprecaied early check in and upgrade, but it is not what you expect and i dont see what service i received that would not be included in the room rate. "This is right in the heart of all the theaters BUT was surprisingly very quiet at night. My only negative is that the bathroom had a smell which I think it is old pipes?? But overall it was a good experience and a lot of restaurants and easy access to the tube."
