"Great continental breakfast with good selection of hot food, breads and pastries. Location is fantastic at close walking distance to tube station. Overall condition is great and the room size is decent with good tv selection, inclusive of Netflix and YouTube. Only downside is the lack of AC so you will need to open the windows to ventilate and there isn't temperature control. A heater is present though. "

"Clean room, staff were excellent…..disappointed with hotel bar & restaurant……didn’t serve evening meals & bar closed early. Mainly disappointed that when booking & checking in that nothing was mentioned about the current refurb work where work started at 8am both mornings! It wasn’t cheap to stay & I would have expected a bit of a heads up & we could have found somewhere else a bit quieter,"

"Staff very helpful. Very busy one day withh lots of young students at breakfast! The staff worked very hard, very well organised. Incidentally the young people were very well behaved which helps!"

"The room was clean and there was a kettle and some mugs so we could make coffee. The room was quite small but the bed was comfy. Certainly OK for a single night if you have a train to catch at St.Pancras, which is only a 13 minute walk away. There's a decent sized Waitrose 2 minutes walk away if you need a snack and a range of restaurants even closer if preferred. My only real complaint was the lack of a fridge/ freezer even at reception to keep some medication cool overnight and to freeze some packs to keep it cool on the journey. Also, although not a problem for us, there is no lift and quite steep stairs to access the upper floors.99"
