"The hotel is cute and cozy, very clean and the staff was extraordinary. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was the breakfast, for 21 euros, I was disappointed. The only 2 warm items were eggs and bacon. The rest were cold cuts, cheese, yogurt, and a variety of bread and rolls."

"The pictures were not at all like our room. We had no windows. we paid for a deluxe apt and were very disappointed with the room. Staff was hit or miss - some were great some were not nice. "

"We stayed in various hostel/hotels and this by far was the worst. We didn’t have hight expectations given how cheap the room was, and it still managed to disappoint. We arrived at the hotel about 20 minutes after the 3pm check-in and no one was at reception. There was roach spray behind the counter. We waited 40 minutes before anyone showed up. We yelled out hello, knocked on the door behind reception, inquired at the restaurant next door, and even checked upstairs with no luck. This was beyond stressful as we had tickets for the Louvre and little to no time to spare. It looks like only one person works per shift, as the receptionist finally showed up from cleaning rooms, she gave us our key and disappeared again. We went upstairs and rushed to make our Louvre reservation. This meant we had no time to relocate the receptionist and complain about the room we received. I paid for a more expensive room in order to get a private bathroom and all of the pictures showed bathrooms with doors or at the toilet separated from the rest of the room. Our room had an open floor plan with no doors or even a curtain to separate the toilet from the rest of the room. The curtains were dusty, the bed frame was rusty and cracked, the AC didn’t work, the tv had no control or buttons, and the bed sheets were linty and stained. By the time we came back it was too late to change the room and the worker said “it’s only one night, oh well.” We didn’t even want to lay on the bed."

"The main concern is the stairs to go to main bed. Extremely dangerous. There is a sofa bed down stairs but is super uncomfortable. Body towels were smelly to cigarettes. And there was a mouse in the kitchen and spiders in the toilet. I ask the owner if I can cancel second night because it was too dangerous to go upstairs and even worst with a toddler. The solution he gave me was not to go upstairs and use the sofa to sleep. Told him about the smelly towels, and said that i was lying. Definitely not recommending this place. First time that I made bad review on a stay."

"Located in 3er. Great hotel in a vibrant area. Room was good. Air conditioning worked well. Wonderful restaurant in hotel. Countless bars, restaurants, and top tier like fromageries, boilangeries, and shopping. More neighborhood feel than Opera area. Metro close and walkable in middle of Le Marais."
