"An older hotel, allows dogs so if you are sensitive/allergic just a heads up. Amazing, kind, and hospitable staff. They are always available if you have any concerns. They offer luggage delivery services via Yamato Transport. Rooms were spacious, considering the average Japanese hotel room sizes. Plenty of bathroom amenities.
All you can drink for 1hr per day per room. No bars, but they have a good selection! Breakfast buffet is a simple menu but decent variety. The building next door has a...
"Fantasic value for money hotel. Nice, clean rooms with decent space for luggage friendly staff, comy beds and with a train staion very close by. We loved it and would definately stay here again. Family of 2 adults & 2 kids."
"This is so far THE BEST hotel stay for me of all my visits to Japan for more than 5 times!
The room is incredibly spacious and extremely clean. Each bed has TWO LARGE pillows, not the lousy tiny pillows you see at other hotels, one SOFT and one FIRM pillow.

"We stayed for few days only but it was a great accommodation. Friendly staff, easy to check in and check out. The rooms are small but enough space for medium suitcases. I really recommend this stay in Kyoto.

"We enjoyed Japanese traditional Machiya lobby area/library with small courtyard. Fancy bento style breakfast in Tatami room was awesome. Modern hotel room was very comfortable, and staffs were very nice. I definitely recommend this hotel. "
"Well overall it is ok. Double meals was unexpected better than one can think.
Don't forget to prepare for Kyoto accommodation tax. I wish I could have paid together from the beginning.
However it is quite far from subway station so be mindful."
