"Run by the kindest people (and friendliest cats!) in all of Salem, and could not possibly be more centrally located! You can walk everywhere from here, and you have a front row seat to any events in the square - it's literally right across the street. Parking in Salem is at a premium, and we are driving a crew cab truck to make it even worse, but Matt went WELL above and beyond to make sure we got a great spot. Do note - it's a lovely old house, but like most old houses, it does have steps, ...
"We loved staying in a house built in the 1600s! It was like getting to sleep in a museum rather than a hotel.
Also - the Continental Breakfast was more than we expected! Beyond a few kinds of breakfast bread and a toaster, there was also whipped cream cheese, hard-boiled eggs, and a couple types of fresh fruit. We were very pleased.
There were only a couple drawbacks (which would NOT keep me from recommending the experience):

"The check-in / check-out process was very quick and easy through text messages or at the counter. The rooms were beautiful, clean, and had appropriate amenities.
Location was right in town, perfect for popping in and out as needed. Parking was provided. Breakfast was provided by scheduling a time the evening before through a link sent via text message.
Higher end of my per night price range, but would recommend!"

"Hotel was great and very clean. Staff was very friendly. I would definitely stay again on my next trip to Boston. The only con is their shuttle service ends by 11pm and we arrived after midnight and had to get an uber which was pretty pricey. Pro: it’s close to the train transit station and easy to get into the city. "
