"There is a reason this is a three star hotel. Despite some pleasant room decor and very helpful staff there are many things that let it down. Exterior is shoddy, rooms look over a busy road or a busy courtyard- both are noisy when windows are open in warm weather. Menu disappointing and limited - there was literally nothing that enticed me. There was also a lack of choice for vegan or even veggie options. "Booked for an overnight stay as working the music festival at Herrington Park. Excellent communication. Staff polite & professional and happy to accommodate our needs. "We stayed in room 102 (cosy room) a lovely little room over looking the gardens. The room was clean and spacious with a walk in shower. We had breakfast which was delicious , served by Rachel the hotel manager, she was bubbly and very approachable giving plenty of suggestions for our trip. The hotel is normally busy but turned out we were the only guest for the evening which made for a peaceful stay (no complaints here) "

"Check in was quick and easy. Staff were helpful and polite, even moved me from a room in the inn to an annexe room so I could be away from noise from bar. Also had a very good breakfast which is extra but excellent value for money. Definitely recommend it hotel and breakfast."
