"The first-floor bar/restaurant it gorgeous but it was closed when we were there, I think until sometime in mid- to late May. That was the only disappointment. We really enjoyed our stay there. Staff was super helpful with suggestions about food and places to go. Room was quiet and clean."

"Rooms were small but cozy. Everything was where it should be but the aircon makes a terrible noise at night and its either i bear with it or turn it off. Breakfast is simple and nothing much to shout about. Would be good if more hot items were available. What is really nice is the lounge area with all day drinks and a microwave to heat up food. This was really useful and made the stay more bearable. This hotel is located at the fringe of the tenderloin. So turn a corner and you're in zombieland. We tried walking to the pier and turned a wrong corner so had an interesting time dodging them."

"Had an unfortunate experience at a San Fran hostel and needed to find another lodging very fast. Called King George and they were really quick to accommodate us and gave us a nice rate to ease our stress. Great people. Very clean. If i go back to San Fran will be staying there again"
