"Location is great, if you’re driving there is a parking building just next door that always has space with reasonable price. There is no elevator, so for lazy person like me I’m glad that I got room on the first floor. Room was a bit tiny, we have to open our luggage one at a time. Shower room and toilet is very clean and pleasant, there’s also bathtub as well which is unexpected. "

"Was extremely nice older hotel. My room had a king bed and was lots around it. I enjoyed the old school elevator. "

"Hotel Garrett was a wonderful stay and it was clean and was nicely designed. I know there are complaints about the area being sketchy, but this what SF has become everywhere due to the City not helping it's people and not the fault of the hotel. I appreciate the very secure lock lobby door to keep things safe and felt very welcomed by the staff! The breakfast is small but had delicious pastries from a local bakery. "

"The room and facilities were very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was clean and well equipped. It reminded me of a very nice hostel. The only downside is the street noise from cars and partyers on the street. Ear plugs help."
