"Breakfast was good. Staff was very friendly and helpful about finding things to do and how to get into and out of Venice efficiently from the nearby train station. Clarissa was particularly helpful with her insights on where to eat and what to see in Venice itself. Room was large. Hotel is small any quiet and out of the way. You will need a car to stay here since nothing is within walking distance. "

"Very disappointing check-in experience at Staycity Venice near the train station. The front desk staff (Alexandra) was rude and unprofessional. It took 20 minutes to check in one room, and she held my passport as a guarantee but refused to provide a receipt, which made me very uncomfortable. She even suggested I shouldn’t book this hotel again. Based on this experience, I won’t—and I wouldn’t recommend it to others, as there are many newer hotels nearby, some even closer to the station."

"The room was very clean, nice and soft duvet. The staff were extremely attentive and very friendly. Good services provided: lots of towels, a microwave, cutlery/silverware, wide selection of breakfast for under €10, smoking area, balcony, fridge, tv and ac in the room. Bed was comfortable and spacious. 2 lamps with soft lighting, nightstand with storage, wardrobe with many hangers and more than enough storage. Desk with chair and a place to keep shoes. "They refused to turn on air conditioning despite it bein 26 degrees plus when we arrived the first day. They told us to open the windows. They did provide us a fan which was gracious but it was not enough. So we opened the windows and that made our stay extremely unpleasant. There was this constant smell probably coming from outside but would could not close windows because that would make us too hot. Seemed like exhaust from washrooms / seweage. Also the mosquitos or god knows what insects...

"There was no AC because it is still considered to be the winter in April. And keep the windows open let flies inside. "

"The room was two double beds for a family of 2 adults and 2 teenage girls. It was massive and worked really well for what we needed for a city break. The breakfast was minimal, but had all the usual continental offering with some hot elements too. The hotel had a great bar area, the whole place was really clean and the staff were very efficient. "We were looking forward to eating at the hotel but the restaurant is shut which no one told us before. Despite sending me a PDF about my upcoming trip, encouraging me to eat there. There is no room service available either even though there is a QR card in the room with the room service menu. "
