The rooms are squeaky clean; the staff is knowledgable and helpful; and the breakfast is of good quality. I’ve been staying at the Riviera for over 30 years and they have recently added a restaurant & bar downstairs which is excellent. Get away from the tourist that come to Venice all year round. Get away from them by staying on the Lido at the Riviera Hotel. It’s always a pleasure!!!

I liked hotel was of the day, not modernized. Felt very Lido Island. I was very happy with the hotel across from the water bus station and land bus station. The breakfast and meals were excellent, fresh and very Italian. No waffle irons!!! Staff was informative on times to get to Venice or other islands. Overall, I would stay at Hotel Riveira again

The hotel is well situated on Lido for it is across from the water bus station and it is surrounded by eateries. The breakfast was well presented and quite substantial. The staff in this area and the bar area were very pleasant and very helpful. The AC in our room needed explaining- this should have been done day one not day four. The front desk finally sent a staff member to explain.

This was a lovely small hotel in the ideal location across from the vaporretto station from Venice. It was a five minute walk to the beach. They had absolutely no amenities no body lotion no Kleenex in a times I found a particular receptionist very rude. The night receptionist were lovely. My room was great with the balcony overlooking the canal as well as the sea and the room was very quiet! The bathroom was salty that it did not even have a place on the wall to hang toilet paper. They did offer a small table in the bathroom to put my toiletries. The plus was the window in the bathroom which overlooked the church steeple and was magical when the bells rang while I was showering I would stay there again

The hotel is clean and the house-keeping staff are very efficient. The air con is old but effective. Very comfortable bed. The decor could do with updating but the main thing for me is the cleanliness which was very good. There is outside noise at night from nearby bars but earplugs helped! Apart from the noise, the hotel has a great location across the road from vaporetto stops and plenty of cafes and restaurants. I would definitely stay there again.

We stayed for 2 nights and thought the location was perfect and super easy to get back and forth to Venice. Lido was a beautiful little island and felt there were was tons to explore. The staff was really helpful with helping us figure out the ferry back to the airport and had bag storage incase we wanted to go explore for the day.

The hotel is VERY convenient to the bus and water taxi, which is vital in Venice. Our room overlooked the lagoon with a wonderful balcony/deck. Would stay there again and very much recommend it.

Nice hotel, slightly dated but very well kept. Rooms a little small, but adequate. Nice breakfast. Lovely service by front desk and restaurant.
