This hotel is in a good spot. It's walkable to everything. It is a very historic hotel meaning that it's in original form and I appreciated that. I wanted to have a venetian experience. The bed was not so much comfortable but we powered through. I wished the AC that it had worked. We went in the summer, and it was hot, day in and day out. They provided a fan but didn't make too much of a difference.

Hotel is average,good location . But hotels.com overcharge so much . On the day of the arrival the price was $60 a night . I paid $170 . Iris just a fine stay for the $60 .But not for what I paid for .

Check-in process. Poor communication for instructions to checking in. There is a crack on the floor which is a hazard. The room is very hot. The portable cooler is not sufficient to cool the room, so the room stayed very hot. It is very close to attractions and eateries. It is quiet. The room is clean and outside surroundings. Not enough toiletries.

ONLY good thing was the location. “Air conditioning” is just a tiny mobile unit that they don’t event have a vent for the output. We booked the “double deluxe canal room” and it was just two twin beds pushed together. They had nobody at check in desk, phone number didn’t work, and when somebody finally did show up she acted like we were inconveniencing her for needing to check into the hotel.

The hotel was not clear to us that there is no reception and we have to call them and send documents via WhatsApp. The city tax had to be left in the room by cash so you have to be prepared. No communication regarding the receipt. The only positive thing is the location. We paid €150/ night when booking 3 months in advance. But an even better room was available for just €50/ night from one week before the date of stay. So be careful of what you’re paying!

One night's stay

No one was at the reception when we arrived at about 7 pm or in the morning when we needed to check out and pay. Finally, at 10 someone showed up. The room was clean and quiet, and the bed was comfortable. It is very worn down but decent for a night's stay
