"Am enchanted place just a few hundred meters outside of Chamonix. The room was big and comfortable, with a very nice terrace. The place was incredibly silent and immersed in the forest, nearby a roaring river. "

"Loved just about everything! The staff was very helpful, courteous, friendly. The amenities were wonderful! The breakfast was outstanding. The location was perfect for a start and end on the TMB. The room was comfortable except for no ac on some warm days. The coffee and water bar were appreciated. The spa area was also a nice addition. Would highly recommend except on hot days. We did order a fan but for the room but it helped minimally. "

"Lovely boutique hotel, very informal and home style. Has a nice restaurant attached to the hotel. 1 minute walk to the piste. Les Crosets is v quiet with limited other restaurants and amenities. Great ski connections to avoriaz and the rest of pdusoleil"

"Four years ago, we stayed at the Hotel Les Grands Montets as part of our Tour du Mont Blanc ten-day trek. We had two nights there as we prepared for our last two legs of hiking on our trek. Unfortunately, poor weather did not permit us to take the preferred route to the Lac Blanc -- wind and precipitation made that leg too dangerous. We did an alternate route. We decided to complete the Lac Blanc section one day. This year, we completed that leg of the trip under excellent weather...

"Our stay was very good, and we’d come again. Staff all very helpful. Food is good. Slightly more choice and pizza available every night would suit us better, but we still enjoyed what we ate. The rooms and general aesthetic of the hotel have a nice retro vibe. It’s quirky, fun and interesting. Big open dining, lounge, bar, reception and games area is cozy and laid-back.
