Great place to stay in Chamonix. Very comfortable clean room. Many hiking options at proximity. Far enough from the center to be quiet at night but still walkable to restaurants and shops. Beautiful areas. Awesome breakfast and space to work.

Lovely cabin in Chamonix

Wonderful place to stay in the Chamonix area! Sol and Enrique are the Argentinian stars of the reception and breakfast area. Very good coffee (with oatmilk) and delicious pastry!

Slept one night in the dormitory. Everything was fine, but the space was quite tight in the dormitories. Also there is no window, so we slept with the door open which was fine. I like that the beds have walls around on all but one side, which makes it feel a bit more private. Friendly staff and a cozy place, I would say it was worth it for the price.

Lovely little hotel near hiking & biking trails.

The staff was amazing. The location is lovely if you are an outdoors person. Next to hiking and biking trails and an easy walk to the center of town. Mountain view and comfortable outdoor seating to relax. The rooms are small but great for the price and clean. The breakfast was also very nice. We would definitely stay here again.

Unfortunately, i broke my ankle just before arriving here. The staff went out of their way to help me. It seems like i am in a beautiful location with trails right outside my window. It's ashame i can't walk, but i will be back!

This property is a little slice of heaven! So beautiful with a walking trail into the center of the city. It feels like you are in a secluded forest and its just beautiful! I wish that the heat worked a little better in the rooms and there was an extra blanket but beyond that this place is ideal!

Out of the way but lovely

This hotel is definitely a bit out of the way if you are visiting Chamonix but the complimentary bus stops on the road outside. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. It has great access to some lovely walking routes. The rooms are simple but clean and serviced every day. Maybe check what room you’re in if you are a very light sleeper as the road and railway line are nearby.

We really enjoyed our stay at L’Arveyron. It’s tucked into a beautiful forest that’s surrounded by the French alps. Accessible to city centre by bus or you can walk. The staff was very friendly and gave us free bus tickets. The rooms were quaint and had everything we needed. Restaurant was really good and the environment was just great overall. This chalet should be considering a 3 star not a 2 star. We will be returning on our next trip to Chamonix ! Thanks, Roukaya

Stayed twice, will stay again.

Second time staying here. Excellent little hotel just outside Chamonix, quietly set near the river in the forest with great views of the Aiguille du Dru. Friendly, welcoming. Comfortable room, a triple which was effectively two rooms with lots of space. Nothing too grand but very comfortable and clean, with a balcony. The only challenge is the narrow stairs (no lift). Good buffet breakfast. And, they now serve dinner; interesting menu of good food, though a bit expensive maybe. Although not in town this hotel is very good and inexpensive for the area.

I found the location of the hotel with the different buildings and the surrounding very nice. Registration was uncomplicated , good and well thought was organizing the early departure. I found it a little bit difficult that it wasn´t possible to get Internet an my lap top in my room. bit by using my mobile I was able to solve it.

Dormatories no good.

In general this is a nice hotel, modern and cozy, placed quietly outside of the city, with regular busses nearby. The staff was friendly and breakfast was great -hence the two stars. However I cannot reccomend the dormatories. They are at ground level without a single window, has the smallest toilet and bathroom I have ever seen, the toilet door didnt work properly and there was an open hole in the floor at the back of the room (supposedly they had a water leak a few weeks prior... Not a nice look though). The worst part however is the terrible ventilation, the whole form has a weird smell, like a damp old basement, and with no windows to crack open I nealy suffocated at night. It was my worst sleep of the entire tour the Mont Blanc. On night two I finally caved and opened the door (left it open all night), which allowed for some airflow, but certainly is not a good solution either. I would not stay again, something was not right with the air in that room. Otherwise a nice hotel though.
