"I liked the location of the hotel. The room and the bathroom both had bad odors. The mattress was a little lopsided. There was not sufficient space to open up my suitcase. There were noisy guests walking in the hallway and woke me up one night. "

"We had an amazing stay at APA!! Very convenient location with two train stations close by, lots of shopping, & dining option. The area is very clean, safe, & quiet. Staff were very friendly. Fresh linens and toiletries were delivered to our door daily. Rooms are small but not a problem if you can keep your stuff organized. The bed was comfortable but pillows were a bit stiff which would be my only complaint. We stayed at two different APAs during our trip & would stay again!"

"I wish the Godzilla terrace was open. The beds are very hard like a board. Great location in the heart of Shinjuku. Good access to subway and train. The limousine bus stop to and from the airport is one block away."

"If you are looking for an excellent location in Shibuya this is a great place! The staff is also very excellent and best in class service. They are very helpful to set up taxis for you. The breakfast buffet is very nice with great staff! The rooms look similar to the photos however they are the extremely small Japanese type. Difficult for a two person luggage storage and very dated. We're older so the tub height made it difficult to climb into the shower. Our son was alone in his room and it was fine for him. My wife and should have splurged for a place that had more room and upgrade. It's five stars for staff and location. Three stars at best for the room."

"The location is very convenient and the staff are friendly. Accommodations are basic, but clean and sufficient. Breakfast is very good. My negative experience was that I had a situation with my A/C and it was not resolved during my stay, despite asking for help. They said they checked it while i was out and it was blowing cool air, but it definitely was not. I have a thermometer, and it was 25C in there! Language was definitely a barrier in this situation. Because I was only there for two nights I didn’t want waste my limited time trying to get them to fix it so I just sweated it out, took cold showers, and didn’t stay in my room much."
