There is a tiny desk, so if you need to work, it can only fit a laptop. Room is ok for one person for 8 days stay, it would be too much for 2 people for a long stay if you plan to stay in the room a lot ( to work like me). Grand Forward Hotel
Great location when visiting Banqiao district near Taipei. Right next to subway, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. A bit older hotel that the water in shower will take a few mins to warm up, but with all what you needed and great staff. The breakfast is also amazing.

MGH Mitsui Garden Hotel Taipei Zhongxiao
Location is good. Near to MRT station. However, nearby do not have many shops. Just 1 Family Mart that is 10mins walking distance. More like business hotel. Only 1 restaurant called Japoli. Zhonghe
