"As an expedia ueser, we should be made aware if there is renovations ongoing before we book. The staff was amazing and did say there would be comstruction. However, I did not expect to be treated to a rock concert while I stayed there. There was no regard by the workers for anyone in the building, music playing very loud so that every floor could hear. "An unforgettable stay.
Myself and my wife were only there for two nights, so we did not get to experience all that it has to offer, but what we did experience was excellent.
The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is very good. Our room was comfortable and quiet, and we had a great view of the city.
The grand foyer made such a big impression on me that I could not help but to stop and record a video of it.
On top of this, out of the three top hotels we have stayed at in Makati, The Peninsula offered the best value for the price per night.
We will be back again for our next stay in Makati."
"I paid online before I arrived. I was not allowed to enter my room because they said I had to pay cash at the front desk. The police were present and I explained to them that I had already paid through hotels.com and they call the owner of the apartment and the girl that booked me online in WhatsApp And they agreed to let me have the key, but I had to pay in cash and the police were present and I’m in a foreign country and I’m afraid they may throw me in jail so I paid in cash so I am not pleased with this at all. I never found out they wanted me to pay in cash until After I had already booked. It’s a 27 hour flight and I was tired and I had jet lag it was a terrible experience at the residency Inn booked through hotels.com and Expedia I tried to call in contact hotels.com and Expedia and I was never able to get anyone"
"The room was was described. Beds were comfortable and location to the airport was perfect. We did not have hot water, reported it to the manager but didn't hear back. Overall our stay was fine."
"This condo is very beautiful and clean. The beds are comfortable and have high quality linens. I was able to cook in the unit, which was fully furnished with basic cooking items, and there is a little store downstairs for supplies. The location was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. I didn't have any problem with the reservation. We had to provide our IDs ahead of time so that the building would allow us in. The building is very strict about admission, so make sure you declare exactly who is in your party ahead of time."
