"Staff were very efficient and helpful. Check in process very quick and although we arrived very early there were no issues. The room was clean and tidy , but due to its age floors and stairs could be a bit creaky. However what would you expect from the oldest pub in Stafford. Good value and would book again."

"The bathroom was very dated. It looked like a nursing home. The flooring was extremely old. The bed was too low. Only one bath towel for 2 people. It was definitely not up to standard for a Hub. The staff was friendly and made you feel welcomed. But this hotel needs serious renovations. "

Firstly, it was (and still is) advertised as having FREE WIFI. This is important to me as I was here for work and need internet access when I’m working away. Reality - there is no internet!
