The hotel is in a good position for one stop when travelling. We had no hot water, staff were apologetic but they did not have a solution. Handy for motorway services.

Staff are the best part about this hotel, friendly and helpful. Hotel building is quite tired and needs renovation, such as the sink in our room was cracked and looked like it has been for a long time.

Staff were friendly. Location was good. The room had a smell of urine (assuming dog friendly, we have had dogs in the past so not against) and the carpet was stained with wet/liquid marks and very dirty. Not just stained, but dirty. The full room had a feeling of uncleanliness and we aren't the most fussy. It just needed a really good scrub from top to bottom and to smell fresh really. Decor or wear is fine. We left within a few hours, on our way out we were offered a swap of room, but we were over it at this point. The first room should have been to a good enough minimum standard.

Hotel is a little dated but room and bathroom were very clean. Fan was provided so temperature was comfortable. Room spacious and will be great if you have dogs. Bed relatively comfortable. Minor gripe is that the shower gel was very watered down so no use really. Other than that it’s a good budget option for this location and I would definitely stay there again.
