"Great location and the building has an amazing history"

"Parking right next to the hotel, right next door to the service station with Casta, WHsmiths, Mcdonalds and mini Asda at the far end. Inside the room was silent; no traffic noise at all. Beds are comfy, place is clean and tidy and wardrobe space with hamgers provided. Bathroom small but functional, hot water ran quickly and water pressure was good. Staff member on arrival (Carol) was polite, smart and friendly. She took our car reg for parking and told us all we needed to know. In the morning,...

"Black mould around the bath. Inadequate heating, the radiators didn’t switch on and made the room quite cold. My room tv arial was broken, however the receptionist was very helpful and sourced me another arial cable from another room. "

"The Barns Hotel is a great place to stay. Staff are very accommodating and friendly, room was comfortable and clean and there is free parking. The restaurant served reasonably priced food and the breakfast was lovely. The manager kept the bar open until we had all returned from a local festival. We would stay here again in the future 😁 "

"Had a lovely nights stay - very comfortable bed, lovely size room with everything we could want. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fresh fruits and lots of biscuit in the room which was extremely clean. Had a great welcoming from the owners on arrival with freshly baked flap jacks and lots of local knowledge shared. A book regarding the building was also an interesting read.
