"A big "Thank You" to Douglas and his team. There is nothing they have not thought of or taken care of. The rooms and living areas were spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The attention to detail is very clearly shown by the interesting decor. Douglas laid out a great itinerary for us that included some sites that the bus tours would never visit. Casa da Estefânea has a great location to explore the Sintra area. We would recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming stay in this...

"Great for a quick visit to Sintra. Our room was under some repair, but overall good experience and well situated."

"Awesome location. A bit of a walk from downtown Sintra but it had a big public parking lot right next door. We parked the car and walked downtown and to all of the castles. The room was extremely small but it was all we needed. Try "pasta de nata" frim the coffee shop next door......amazing!"

"Stay was great, we were slightly delayed receiving the room but we were provided keys and our luggage was stored and put into the room for when we came back. Checkout was early so we were able to leave the keys on the counter and leave through the side door which locked behind us. Free parking was available in the lot across the street."

"Great location and walking distance to shops. Breakfast can be had at numerous cafes around or cook your own in the kitchen. Our room was small but there were larger rooms available but without private bathrooms I believe."
