The place is quite nice. The two rooms were well sized and clean. There was a small kitchen that came in handy to make breakfast in the morning. The place is conveniently located as we walked everywhere once we parked the car at the parking lot near the train station.

J’épatais dans l’appartement avec deux chambres. La première chambre ne sentait pas bon, il y avait une odeur d’humidité. Je pense que c’était dû au mur en pierre. Le soir ayez des boules quies car une machine extérieure fait énormément de bruit! Sinon, l’emplacement est parfait pour aller visiter tous les châteaux et les attractions aux alentours !

The apartment itself was great: convenient location, comfortable beds, amazing view. Just one thing was awful: the almost unstoppable noise coming from the outside water pump (the host suggested it was that). This unit is on the top floor, and makes noise like somebody drilling holes in your wall. It was a little easier at night, but during the day it was nonstop. So if you are a sensitive sleeper, or cannot tolerate the noise I wouldn't recommend this place unless they fix it.

This is basic accommodations so if you’re looking for upscale..keep looking. That said it feels safe, it’s clean and the location is perfect The rooms are stark but have the basics. There is plenty of hot water and enough dishes for a decent meal. The restaurant up the street (The Raposa) is fabulous…food was our best meal in Sintra There’s no parking but the bus /train station is close enough to walk to with suitcases All in all…it’s good value for the money

This was exactly as advertised. A quiet, large space perfect for visiting Cintra for a few days. Everything was clean and in good order. It is a little off the beaten path which I appreciated, but it is about a 10 minute walk uphill to reach the historic city center. Nearby to the train station and some spots for breakfast, as well as a very nice restaurant on the block for dinner.

We froze the first night but it was because we didn’t know how to work the air conditioner/heater. Much better the second night other than bathroom skylight window was open letting cold air into bathroom all night. Staff were excellent!

Had a wonderful stay here. We requested an early check in and they accommodated us. Everything was perfect in the room — mattress was comfortable, heat/AC/hot water worked fine, coffee, tea, plates, and cups all provided. The location is an easy 15-20 min walk to downtown Sintra/National Palace, or a Bolt/Uber can get there in less than 5 euros. It was also within one block from a mini market which was super convenient to get water, snacks, and picnic lunch.

The room was clean and very spacious. It had a kitchen with everything you need for cooking, if so inclined. The kitchen and sink can be hidden behind closet doors making the place look really neat. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely consider it if ever back in Sintra.

The room was in good condition but they make it look so much nicer than what you really get. You could smell somebody smoking through the vent in the bathroom and you can hear others in rooms around you. The bathroom was nice and remodeled. It was nice for the price that it is. I would stay here again. Some of the lights at night are really bright and warning stickers glow on the walls while you are trying to sleep. It isn't really close to anything but then again in Sintra everything is pretty far from each other in terms of walking. The view from the seating area is beautiful but we couldn't enjoy it because people were out there smoking the whole time. Even 7 am when we woke up the next morning in the dark they were out there smoking again. For the price it is a warm comfy bed and a place to safely lie your head.

Excellent location for touring Sintra. Close to city center and convenient to the castles for touring. Essentially a street away from the main drag, but far enough that it was very quiet. Beds were also quite comfortable. Shower and bathroom were roomy. Would stay here again!

Please read carefully before booking. We ended up booking a room in a shared house, sharing a bathroom which was not very pleasant 😐 tried changing the room several times before travel but we were told we could not but asked us to pay full amount if we wanted the other room. There is no parking on premises and it is a steep hill to get to the hotel so not for handicapped people. Horrible stay for us.
