"This place is just amazing in every way. The view from our room overlooking the kamo river is very picturesque. The layout of the room is very well designed and the room is huge and tastefully decorated. The location is close to the subway and minimarts. Love the microwave, the 2 televisions, and the washing machine.

"We had 3 fantastic stays at the Riverte Kyoto Kamogawa. Very service minded staff that took good care of us from arriving to checkout. Room was spacious, nice and comfortable - and the hotel has a small rooftop terrace. Area is quiet and nice, but with a selection of amazing small restaurants close by. We will stay here again when we visit Kyoto. "

"This was a great choice for my family of five traveling to Kyoto. It was exceptionally clean and the suite was spacious. Free coffee, tea, sake and beer in the lobby was a nice amenity. It was easy to walk to the train station and other local attractions from this location. Riding the train was extremely easy. There were options for dining and coffee within walking distance as well as convenience stores and supermarkets. It was also easy to grab an Uber and receive Uber eats. I loved the shower...
"Quite a unique experience with traditional Japanese furniture and room layout. The owner clearly put a lot of thoughts in building out this hotel by integrating modern appliances into traditional Japanese house architecture. Beautifully decorated garden. Staff were super helpful."

"Beautiful hotel at a great price. The rooms are large with tatami floors and futon bedding. Lots of space for luggage and bathrooms are very nice. The public onset is the highlight of this hotel - the hotel was not busy during my stay and we got to enjoy empty onsen in the early morning and late night.
