Not a terrible, just average. Highly recommend Salty’s chips and pizza down the street for food, service was awesome and food was good and plentiful."

"The Alamo Guest House was lovely, in a great location across from a lovely park. Easy access to everything …. transport, museums, restaurants, etc. The staff were exceptional. Great breakfast offered."

"I stayed for two nights in the hotel. The room was clean and tidy. Iron and iron board were provided. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. It will be better if vendoring machine selling drinks is available. Also they forgot to clean my room after the first night, so I give them 4/5."

"Well-maintained, clean hotel located near good restaurants and pubs. Room was small but sufficient, beds were comfy and amenities such as free onsite parking, an elevator, secure entrance, and breakfast were much appreciated. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Overall, a great stay!"

"Nice hotel, only real let down was the aircon/controls, no real ability to make the room cold which was not ideal in the midst of a heatwave. Other than that breakfast was fine and the decor/rooms were spot on."

"The hotel has a tired look and not well cleaned. This is evident in the elevators, the hallways and the room. The bathrooms were clean but there was pizza cheese stuck to the carpet where you put your feet down beside the bed. The furniture in the lounge and restaurant shows signs of heavy use. The meals were jut ok but the staff were cheerful and helpful."

"Nice room. Friendly staff. The bed was rock hard, and the duvet cover is missing stuffing. It was just a sheet. The Climate control was good. The taps in the tub are very finniky to use. The pool was being worked on when we arrived so we did not get to use that. I prebooked a late check out, got a confirmation, the staff had no record of it despite me showing them the email. They did say it would be okay. Internal booking system had issues. Call to confirm. I had the do not desturb sigh...
