"I stayed at Hotel Zed with a friend for a girls trip and it was awesome. The staff were so lovely and accommodating. They let us check in early, which was so helpful since we were on an early flight. The ability to text message the lobby was so convenient and they were always super responsive. We were reluctant to stay at a hotel outside of downtown but the location was super easy to navigate to a cool restaurant or the wharf with a quick Uber ride. Thank you Hotel Zed!!!"

"Staff were so helpful and accommodating. The property had so much charm and very inviting. The bed was comfortable. Had everything I needed. The soaps and coffees were local and added a nice touch."

"Stayed here one night for work. The room was clean and had the usual amenities, including a full bathtub and refrigerator. Bed was very comfortable. The only negative thing was the hot tub was small and felt very high in chlorine (which is better than the alternative) - burned my eyes. Was only in for about 15 minutes. Very minor complaint, good value for the stay. One recommendation would be for robes in the room making the trek to the pool a little nicer. Will stay again."

"Absolutely amazing experience at Rosemead House. It is like stepping into a magical wonderland. Beautiful property, building, rooms, restaurant. Delicious breakfast in an adorable setting. We weren't able to have dinner at the renowned restaurant, but will definitely go back again to enjoy that experience which is supposed to be sensational. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. HIGHLY recommend Rosemead and can't wait to visit again!!"

"We stay in 2 bedrooms suite. Room decoration is good clean and good space. Very good view and can open the door, winter for fresh air. I feel like stay in condimenium having kitchen and there are washing and drying machine in the hotel. The location is great near the attraction in the walking area. Near testaurant and mall. We will recommend our friend when visit Victoria."

"Rooms were really clean and spacious, perfect for the family stay and kitchen was well equipped. Also the staff was polite and helpful. Location was very convenient as we could stroll around the downtown."

"We had a very nice 3-night stay at the Rialto. The staff were very helpful and any recommendations from them turned out to be great. We appreciated the higher floor room we received and closing the bathroom door kept it quiet at night (window insulation was not as good in the bathroom and outside noises drifted in). All in all we enjoyed our stay here and appreciated the restoration work involved in maintaining this hotel’s historic status."

"Room was clean but for the almost $400/night it was definitely underwhelming, VERY old and the amenities in the rooms were not worth $400. We arrived to almost deafening music from the lounge/bar, so loud you could barely hear the clerk!!! This continued until late into the evening so be aware if you’re looking for peace and quiet or on a business trip and need to work in the morning. Best and only thing that can be said is the room was clean."

"Only having street parking is an issue as neighbours also rely on street. Building is well kept, really like the location and neighbourhood as well. Our charming room was the smallest and we saw larger would have been available at same price. Lots of stairs, not a problem if your knees are good!"
