"Excellent stay. Great host, really lovely rooms and fresh cooked breakfast in the morning is a must. Great location, around a 5 - 10 minute walk to the city center and right next door to the pub. No parking on site but there is a large multi-story public parking nearby which is a good cheap option."

"Staff was excellent. Food in restaurants were very good. Plenty of option and good portions"

"Wykeham Arms is a period institution! Accomodation is a plus, and great food... Location, location, location helps!"

"Excellent hotel. On site parking a bonus."

"The hotel is perfectly located in the middle of town, right next door to the cathedral. A great launch site for exploring the city. We were able to park directly under the hotel which was very convenient as it was raining. The hotel is clean and tidy, but starting to show its age in places and probably due a refurbishment at some point. We enjoyed our stay and would probably stay there again."

"Great location for a getaway. Stockbridge was a hidden gem for us. Well kept pub type hotel with a large room and at a good price. Decent breakfast."

"Very welcoming with helpful and friendly staff. Good and varied dinner menu and a good choice selection of cooked or light breakfast. Location is out of the way down narrow lanes but the pretty village setting is both quiet and peaceful."

"We had a delightful stay...and a wonderful breakfast. My wife thought the eggs were prepared perfectly."

"This is a great little place - central, spotlessly clean and so helpful/accommodating. Perfect for a pre-cruise stay in Southampton"

"A very quaint and memorable visit. Hotel was charming, restaurant was wonderful, staff were exceptional. Located in the heart of Bishop Waltham, all the shops were exceptional and everyone we met in town were so very friendly. We had such a wonderful stay."
