"Excellent stay. Great host, really lovely rooms and fresh cooked breakfast in the morning is a must. Great location, around a 5 - 10 minute walk to the city center and right next door to the pub. No parking on site but there is a large multi-story public parking nearby which is a good cheap option."

"Staff was excellent. Food in restaurants were very good. Plenty of option and good portions"

"Wykeham Arms is a period institution! Accomodation is a plus, and great food... Location, location, location helps!"

"Excellent location. Good food. Very helpful staff"

"The hotel is perfectly located in the middle of town, right next door to the cathedral. A great launch site for exploring the city. We were able to park directly under the hotel which was very convenient as it was raining. The hotel is clean and tidy, but starting to show its age in places and probably due a refurbishment at some point. We enjoyed our stay and would probably stay there again."

"Great location for a getaway. Stockbridge was a hidden gem for us. Well kept pub type hotel with a large room and at a good price. Decent breakfast."

"We had a delightful stay...and a wonderful breakfast. My wife thought the eggs were prepared perfectly."

"A very quaint and memorable visit. Hotel was charming, restaurant was wonderful, staff were exceptional. Located in the heart of Bishop Waltham, all the shops were exceptional and everyone we met in town were so very friendly. We had such a wonderful stay."

"Quaint property with rooms in the main building and in an outer building across a patio with table seating where we had a quiet, well-equipped, modern room. The Inn is a short walk to a scenic marsh and pond with fish/eel traps and a bench for savoring the peaceful view. The town of Stockbridge, about a mile away, is wonderful for window shopping (and purchasing!) and is the start of a beautiful picturesque 'marsh walk' through grazing cows and lovely pastures. "Loved the property, we stayed in the chalet. Facilities are excellent & the buffet breakfast provided was more than ample. Located in a quiet area but very convenient for town centre, a nice walk along the canal takes you into town. Had a very friendly welcome from James who explained how everything worked. Definitely stay again if we need accommodation in Romsey."
