A fabulous find! Right in the heart of the city, only 7 min walk to the Cathedral and Winchester’s vibrant High Street. Comfortable, tastefully decorated room in complimentary style of the Japanese restaurant below. We will definitely be back!

Excellent stay

The room is very spacious and clean, location is super convenient and very close to a public parking thus it’s highly recommend for driver. I’ll definitely book again for my next visit.

Great location, very central for shops, Room was lovely and clean visited end of November, room was lovely and warm, comfy bed, great price, staff polite and friendly. Will definitely visit again. Winchester is lovely place. This was my first time visiting this area plenty to see and do.

Had another great stay at Kyoto Rooms. Very good value for money and staff waited for me when I had to do a late check in - thank you! The room was gorgeous and very comfortable. Only downside is that the busy road outside can be noisy in the morning if you’re a light sleeper.

If you're ever in Winchester, this is the place to stay and the Japanese restaurant is just amazing! the rooms are clean, fantastic toiletries and a great welcome.

the room was very clean and spacious, lovely rain shower. check in was easy in the restaurant below and the staff were really helpful. there is a separate door for guests in the rooms so you can let yourself in at any time of day/night. a small outdoor space. car park very close by and reasonably priced. no charge on Sunday. very convenient for walking into town. would definitely stat again if i return to Winchester, which is a fabulous historic town

Very nice place, great location, we had room by the road at the front so it was quite noisy but its an old building so this has to be expected. There is no breakfast and the restaurant was open until about 10:30. As long as you know about this its a great place. Ive stayed in a several places in Winchester and so far this was the best.

My room was exceptional. Beautiful and tastefully decorated with lovely Japanese prints. The room was huge! with lovely chairs and a very very comfortable bed. A very high quality coffee machine. Lovely clean bathroom with an excellent shower. I cannot fault this place. Exceptional value for money. Thank you for a lovely stay.

5 minutes walk to Winchester High Street. Surprisingly quiet and comfortable for such a central location. Paid (reasonable) covered car park 2 minutes away. I would surely stay here again.

Lovely rooms in a great location.

This is a smart Japanese restaurant that has rooms above. Pros: the accommodation is very nice - our room was spacious, well maintained, beautifully decorated and warm, despite the single glazed window (due to being in Conservation Area probably). Really great location near High Street, 10 minutes walk from the Cathedral. Cons: as above, the window means noise from outside. Don't offer breakfast. Overall, recommended.
