The pool was absolutely phenomenal and had a great time exploring the island and having the hotel close to all the other amenities was nice. "Overall it was a good stay. The breakfast was excellent, with lots of choice. The staff at the restaurant, pool and front desk were very good. The AC would not cool the room much. We called for service and the solution was to set the temp at 10ºC, but the room temp never changed. We had to call for an extra pillow three times. The wifi outside of the room is not great. The gym is too small for such a large hotel. Long waits due to only three working treadmills. "

Biggest problem is the staff who can not communicate at all in anything other then Spanish which is a big negative if it is trying to grow tourist business. Elevator is over used and very busy with non residents using it to go to rooftop bar that it becomes a big inconvenience for residents trying to go tonthir rooms having to wait for throne for a long time especially at night or late evenings. "I really wanted to love this property, but there were a few things that killed it for me. The beds are uncomfortably hard. To me the most important thing in a hotel is having a good night sleep, and Plaza Patilla Inn fails here. There were other less important things that were disappointments: you get ONE bottle of water on your first night, and that is it. Seems like a really dumb policy.
