Overall, a great stay. I would’ve easily given them five stars if the food was better. Unfortunately, the quality and options were consistently disappointing, which felt more like a bigger resort-level issue with the food program rather than the people preparing it. Everything else was great. The property was beautiful, clean, and well maintained, with an amazing atmosphere. The staff truly made our stay special. Huge thanks to Miriam (Concierge), Pedro, Fabian and Cassandra (Entertainment Team), Leo (Front Door Team), Jorge (Beach & Pool Support), and several others whose names I unfortunately missed. They all deserve recognition for the experience they provided everyone and working so hard.

This was our first experience not only in Mexico, but at an all inclusive resort. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The property was exceptionally clean, even as there were some repairs being made to drywall areas in the hallway. You could tell the employees took great pride in their jobs. The pools were clean and the staff around them were very professional. We truly had an exciting and very relaxing time at the resort, and do look forward to returning.

Food was great , been to mulitple resorts in cancun and the food was just ok, so it was a pleasant surprise the restaurants and buffet were great. Room was clean , staff friendly- except staff at the smokehouse restaurant ( rude )steer clear of that one but its off the adults only property. The sargasm ( sea weed ) was terrible when we got there but the staff worked tirelessly to get it cleaned up within couple days would have never known there was 2ft of sea weed on the beach where couldnt get into water. Overall great resort.

Our stay at JOIA was phenomenal. I’ll start with the food, we tried every restaurant and everything was delicious if I could recommend one memorable dish it was the guac so simple, but magical! You have to make a reservation at each restaurant but we found that even if we didn’t have a reservation the wait did not exceed 15 minutes. The beach had a little seaweed nothing crazy; however I did get stung by a jelly fish. The room was small but very clean we had butler service which I definitely recommend as it made things like reservations, transportation, ice, drinks etc so much easier. This is NOT a party resort but there are night shows and there is a really nice lounge. We had a spa appointment and WOW, if you can definitely book the spa. The pool at the spa is free which is really nice. I honestly can’t wait to go back. My only con is the drinks are a little weak and service at the beach is a tad bit slow but aside from that I can’t wait to return. Thank you JOIA for a great trip, you guys are amazing!

This has been one of the greatest all inclusive me. And my lady has ever been the effort of the staff.
