The staff was amazing. This is not the Fives resort that we thought we had booked but it worked out. Not much for entertainment but was a relaxing vacation. Issues we did have were addressed ( door did not lock) upgraded us to an ocean view room.

Took a long weekend getaway to shake off the winter blues and this resort delivered and then some. ALL of the dining was terrific and tasty, the spa services were top notch, the wait staff went above and beyond and were extremely personable, and the group of Concierge's took care of our every need and question. The resort itself was quiet, peaceful and laid back.....exactly what we needed. Pristine views and accomodations. We will definitely be returning!

This is our second time at The Beachfront. It was just as fabulous as the first, the food and staff are always amazing and very personable. I would highly recommend this resort with an A anytime to anyone. You definitely will not be disappointed.

The staff were the best ive had on any southern vacation. The resort was top notch, great food options and drinks. Perfect 3 min walk to the sister resort. The Beach front resort was much better than the Fives with regards to the staff professionalism. The Fives was not the best. The Breachfront was stellar.

We have stayed at a few higher end adults all inclusive resorts at this point and this one is at the top of the list for us. If you’re looking for somewhere to relax, unwind, forget about daily life for a few days, this is your spot. Drinks were strong with quality liquor. The food was good, not just for an all inclusive, but had good seasoning and quality ingredients. The property is beautiful and constantly being up kept. And the most important part was the staff. They are amazing from beginning to end. Ivonne was one of the best pool side waitresses we have ever had.

Everyone at the resort was fantastic. The gentleman that represented epic for excursions was terrible. Gave us $100 off to go to Tulum unfortunately my wife got sick the day before couldn’t go so they took the credit back. Then we try to go to following day, but the weather was extremely windy and rainy and he tried to charge me for the full amount of the excursion. His ethics with dealing with customers is terrible and I would stay away from him in epic if you ever go to this resort, totally unprofessional. Besides that the resort staff, including Samuel were extremely accommodating and courteous. They’re the ones that made the trip a success.

Amazing a la carte all inclusive

Amazing hotel! It’s the sister hotel to the Fives beachfront hotel, and was bought recently. I think it’s a great place to go if you want an all inclusive but calmer vibe, we visited the sister hotel a few times for meals but much preferred our hotel! The food was excellent, the lunch menu was my favourite and the tasting menus are really good quality. 10/10 recommend!

The service was fantastic and prompt, food and drinks were good. We rarely had to go to the bar for a drink because we were served by the pool / beach. Gustavo and Jennifer were great in the restaurant, Jorge at the pool was exceptional. Our ocean view room had a great view and was clean.

Weekend at the beachfront

This place was so great for a quiet getaway. The Ambassadors made it so easy. We enjoyed most of the food a lot, but did not prefer the dinner menu at the in-house restaurant and had a bad experience with the Sushi restaurant next door. Everything else was wonderful.

The property was small. The staff was amazing and super helpful. If you’re going to just lounge around it’s great. The food was okay not what I expect when traveling to Mexico. I didn’t like that you couldn’t eat whenever you had to travel to the sister hotel more than I’d like to. Overall the staff made the place but I don’t think we will travel back. I actually left 3 days sooner and got another hotel.

It was just OK. The menu was limited, and generally the same day by day with a tasting menu available 3 days a week. I expected more, to be honest. The location was nice, the pool was lovely, and the 'Ambassadors' were exceptional.

The side of the hotel is small, intimate and perfect. The rooms are great size and the resort is quaint enough where you feel you’re in a boutique setting. The sister property is a quick walk along the beach or by tram, where’s there’s more restaurant options, bars and families. The service on that side was lacking in comparison. Would definitely come back to the beachfront side again

I had the most incredible stay at The Fives Beachfront! From the moment I arrived, I felt so welcomed and cared for, but what truly stood out was how the staff went above and beyond to make me feel special on my birthday. They surprised me in the most thoughtful ways, turning my day into a memory I’ll treasure forever. 💖 The property itself is stunning — beautifully designed with breathtaking beachfront views. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious, with so much variety and attention to detail in every meal. The cocktails were a highlight, and I loved being able to indulge while enjoying the gorgeous setting. The service throughout my stay was exceptional. Every staff member I met was warm, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure I had the best experience possible (special shoutout to Carlos and Cristina). The nightly entertainment brought so much energy and fun, and the spa was pure bliss — one of the most relaxing and rejuvenating treatments I’ve ever had. This resort has everything: beauty, amazing service, delicious dining, vibrant nightlife, and ultimate relaxation. I couldn’t have asked for a better birthday getaway.
