"The hosts upgraded us from a room to an apartment—it was a complimentary upgrade which allowed us to prepare our own breakfast and dinner with food from nearby markets. They gave us wonderful advice on day trips from the property and took a genuine interest in our day trips and lives. We will stay here again if we come back to Avignon. If I knew they had a heated swimming pool and hot tub I would have brought a bathing suit."

The room had some nice touches and decor. The breakfast was relaxed in this very quiet part of town. Everything is walkable. "This hotel is blessed with awesome staff. The hotel is centrally located and its an easy walk to parking as well as all the sites you are there to see. The room was great but noisy, you can easily hear street sounds in your room, so dont expect to sleep past 4am, when the street cleaners and garbage trucks come by. Everything street side echos along and up the buildings, even arguments among drunks and homeless. "

"We were offered an upgrade to stay on the second floor which is the third floor if you are an American. Beware if you have large suitcases, as there are no elevators. We had to practically empty our suitcase to get the contents up the stairs. There is a washing machine/dryer combo in the community kitchen, but it takes hours to wash and dry your clothes.
