"The hotel is in an excellent location. The staff was friendly, and the lobby was neat and clean. The room was large, and I loved the balcony views. The only issue was that there were no phone ports close to the bed. Neither did the bathroom have any electrical outlets. Other than these, everything was perfect. "

The bathroom had issues as well: the tub would fill with water while showering, and the sink was leaking (both were eventually fixed after we reported them). The overall condition of the hotel feels quite run down. The hallways had an unpleasant smell, and the general upkeep just isn’t what you’d expect from a Marriott...

"I recently stayed at the hotel while attending a Forbes event and was surprised by the early start of maintenance work on the ocean-facing terrace. Beginning at 7:00 a.m., there was noticeable drilling and worker activity directly outside the balcony. Given that the hotel was fully occupied by Forbes attendees, it is unclear why such disruptive work needed to begin so early. The noise significantly impacted the guest experience, and I understand that several other guests shared similar...

"Excellent location by the sea, directly on the Promenade des Anglais, with tram and bus stops right by your doorstep and only a 10 minute drive from the airport. Staff is very friendly. I was able to check in to my room even though arrived early thanks to Ms. Kiara at the Reception. This was my second stay in this hotel. The only downside are the amenities which lack , but if you ask anything you need , the staff will help you out. Also do enjoy a drink at the rooftop bar "

Our room’s view was one of the best I’ve ever seen! My only critique is the service, while warm, was a little casual for the price of the hotel. Breakfast not included and beach access doesn't have water views (they pile up the sand as a barrier I think). If I went again I might have sunbathed on the pier instead so I could see the water!"

"The staff at check-in was particularly helpful and courteous. The only issue was that our GPS took us to the old entry in front of the hotel which had been blocked off from access. It took us a few u-turns along the main road to find the access road to the hotel entrance."
