"I thought the gorilla theme was really cute and liked the shared space dorm feeling. Some guests were cheerful and not especially quiet but once it got late it was quiet and we slept well. It actually felt festive and pleasant. The bath facilities were clean. There could have been more garbage bins as they got full quickly and it became difficult to separate. The space had a good feeling and it was comfortable to sleep on futons even as a family. There's not much privacy so it might not be great...

"Absolutely perfect. I needed a quick one night stay, walking distance from Kyoto Station and it had everything I needed. The room is small but no bigger than it needs to be when you just want a bed to fall asleep on after a long journey. The owner met me at the door, welcomed me in, gave me a tour and was generally very helpful and friendly. I'd definitely stay again."

"Ho trovato il ryokan Higurashi-Sou veramente bellissimo. Per me e il mio compagno è stato davvero rilassante poter riposare nella camera di questo alloggio. Inoltre il servizio gratuito di Sento pubblico e la possibilità di utilizzare l'area cucina sono stati davvero indispensabili. Abbiamo apprezzato tanto la cura nei dettagli per far sentire gli ospiti accolti nel miglior modo possibile. Grazie! Speriamo di tornare presto a Kyoto e alloggiare di nuovo qui."

"การเดินทางอาจจะยุ่งยากหน่อยที่จริงมีรถ Bus Stop หมายเลข 1 รถหมายเลข 2·6·70·72·160 (คันสุดท้ายเที่ยงคืน) ไปลงป้าย Daibutsuden Kasugataisha-mae แล้วเดินย้อนมาตรง 4 แยกไฟแดงข้ามถนนไปฝั่งตรงข้ามแล้วเดินขึ้นเนินเลียบสวนไปทางขวามือเดินตามไฟขึ้นไปเรื่อยๆข้างทางอาจจะมืดและเงียบหน่อย เดินไปจนเห็นเป็นบันไดสูงๆขึ้นไปมีร้านค้า 2 ข้างบันได แล้วเดินขึ้นบันไดไปเกือบสุด โรงแรมอยู่ขวามือ มีที่เดียวที่เปิดไฟ แนะนำให้ใช้ Google map ช่วยจะอุ่นใจขึ้นเยอะเลย กันหลงทาง หรือจะเข้าไปสอบถามที่ Tourist Information...
