Staff met us before the door and used a cart to bring our luggage inside. We were met immediately and offered comfortable seats and asked for our passports. They found our reservation and checked us in. They noticed that one of our children would be celebrating his birthday during our stay and brought him gifts of chopsticks. "This hotel is amazing! The room was very nice, and they make a great experience for travellers in the reception area. It’s walkable distance to a lot of sightseeing areas, and otherwise had a metro station and bus stops next door that can take you anywhere. We loved our stay here and would definitely stay again! "

"Very convenient location. A few minutes from sanjo train station and buses. Walkable to gion and shopping. In a quiet street and they offer free drinks at the cafe throughout the day. I highly recommend."
"All was great. Clean, well-maintained, and easy to access. Great location, with Nishiki Market, countless restaurants, and grocery nearby. The only minor complaint I have is the slowness of filling the hot tub on the first day. On subsequent days it got better, however. The staff was very responsive through email.
