The hotel is easily accessible from the subway station. The property has everything you need for a place to just sleep. We chose this property because of the close proximity to a venue for a big family gathering, we stayed as a family of three including a one year old toddler. We appreciated that the shower/tub was separate from the wash room. Mind you that this area is in the entertainment district of Nagoya so there is plenty of people walking around late at night.

The hotel is nice, clean, modern, however it is in the red district of Nagoya, not sure if it is like that every night or just friday nights, it was loud nd dirty. But the hotel was great, the service was amazing, rooms are clean, bog enough, and the staff were helpful

Hotel Vista Nagoya was a wonderful and memorable part of our trip in Japan. The concierge staff was very accommodating about receiving our luggage ahead of our arrival, and even put it in our rooms upon check in day. They were also super helpful in sending out our souvenirs to the airport, so we could travel worry free. The best part of the day was the breakfast service, provided by the wonderful breakfast crew. Since we wake up at 6:30 during this trip, the breakfast service was a game changer in our daily travels, since almost nothing is open that early. They served vegetables, salad, daily changing protein options and sides, rice/Unagi rice, soups and the best French toast you'll have so far! I would go back to Nagoya just to stay here again. Thank you for taking care of us!

Renovation works in the lobby, slightly cold staff, not a pleasant area around the hotel - young daughter felt slightly unsafe around the unsavoury characters in Sakae.

This hotel is surrounded by bar and pub. It’s fine in the day time. When in the night, the surroundings are quite bad with lots of drunk people, cigarette everywhere, dirty floor, people vomit etc. don’t bring a child to live in this area. Choose Sakae South instead, near the Apple Store is far better
