"The property is beautifully located in a jungle with winding paths through lush gardens. The buildings are very cool old Spanish style. Rooms were very clean and large. The buffet food is fine, plenty of choices and the fresh fruit is great. The ala carte restaurants were good but have quite a limited menu. They make it a special dining experience. It’s a small very friendly resort. "

My room was on the 4th floor and had a terrific view of the pier where the cruise ships came in, but was just far enough away so as not to be inundated with ship passengers. "Excellent stay. Very comfortable room and shared spaces. We rented a scooter a few days directly from the property which was very convenient. Location is a little away from downtown which we found to be more quiet. Felt safe walking around even at night. There are several great food options within a few blocks.
