"Gatlinburg has a lot of older hotels. I needed something newer to avoid mold, clean, quiet, and walking distance to downtown. This was a terrific stay for us - the room was spacious, the beds were super comfortable, & all parts of the room were clean all around with a modern touch. We provided a quick check in and everything was a breeze. Would definitely stay again when visiting the area. "

"Staff pleasant and accommodating. Breakfast good, however not over the top as far as offerings go. Nice balcony on the river, it was charming to sit the an enjoy the river and its sound. "The lodge is an older property. Despite the age, it was clean and did not have a meldew smell. I took a gamble on this brand as I am a hotel snob, but this was the only option available.
The iron and ironing board were clean and it had a large fridge. The bed was large and the TV was nice. It had no carpet and the AC unit kept the room cool in 98 degree weather. The bathroom has been upgraded. There is one sink with little counter space.
